Asian Students Leadership Conference 2009
Lambda Phi Epsilon has had the honor of co-hosting Asian Students Leadership Conference with other multicultural organizations on campus. This event is held annually, attracting local and global Asian leaders that have much inspiration and knowledge to share with our student body.
Culture Night 2009
CMU’s Taiwanese Student Association hosts an annual “Culture Night”, in which Lambdas have had a traditionally large presence in. Our chapter shows its pride through “Step Shows” which are performances that involve making beats and rhythm through the use of clapping and stomping.
Asian Pacific American Pageant 2009
Asian Pacific American Pageant, dubbed “APA Pageant”, attracts talent from Carnegie Mellon’s diverse student body. The pageant tests the participant’s cultural awareness, intellect, and inner-talent.
Student Association Wars 2009
Student Association Wars, dubbed “SA Wars”, has been an annual competition hosted by our chapter. In our most recent event held in Fall 2009, we have attracted multicultural organizations including but not limited to Asian Student Association, Taiwanese Student Association, Hong Kong Student Association, etc.
G-20 Cleanup
Pittsburgh hosted the G-20 conference in the fall of 2009, which gathered the world leaders together to discuss political and environmental issues. Our chapter volunteered with CMU’s Asian Student Association to clean the city streets of Oakland days before the conference was held.
